The Cottage is a delightful country cottage in the heart of the Shenandoah Valley only 50 feet from the main house! With a queen bedroom upstairs and twin day-bed downstairs, the Cottage is the ideal destination for a couple wanting to private getaway to relax and unwind for a weekend or a week-long vacation.

The Susie Hodges Cottage may be booked as a B&B stay
OR as a Private Cottage Rental.

Please note: There is no smoking permitted inside the cottage. Please don't make us charge you $250 for smoke cleaning or require you to find alternate lodging.

The Cottage Bed & Breakfast option features:

• Living room w/ 35" cable-connected TV, VCR and DVD player
• Sofa that converts to 2 single beds
• Dining table with chairs
• Private, ceramic-tiled bathroom with shower
• Queen bedroom upstairs with cable-connected TV and DVD player
• 2nd story deck
• Wet-bar area with 60" whirlpool tub
• Refrigerator, blender, microwave, coffee maker, electric water kettle
• Patio with pergola and large lawn area
• Washer, dryer, iron and ironing board
• Breakfast daily in the main house
• Reserved parking space in front of cottage
  

The B&B stays may be booked for Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday nights only, with a 2 night minimum required on weekends.  Note that the main house is closed on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday. B&B bookings include breakfast promptly at 9AM in the dining room of the main house on Saturday, Sunday, Monday and Tuesday mornings.

Cottage B&B Rates
1 night: Sunday / Monday: $179
2 nights: Sunday/Monday: $150 per night
1 night: Fri or Sat: $225
2 nights: Fri and Sat: $175 per night

The Susie Hodges Cottage may be booked as a private rental cottage without any meals or other services anytime you are looking for a great place to stay and at a discounted rate to boot.  There is a 2 night minimum on all private rental cottage bookings.  Please make sure you understand that private rental cottage bookings do not include any meals or housekeeping services.  You get the cottage at a discount and provide for your own needs while there.

Private Rental Cottage Rates:
Weekdays: $125 per night / 2 persons; $160 per night / 4 persons
Weekend: $150 per night/2 people; $180 per night/4 people
2 night minimum on all reservations

Please call us if you do not understand the difference between a B&B cottage booking and a Private Rental Cottage booking, or if you would like to book a longer stay involving both B&B and Private Rental Cottage nights.
