Fall is in the air
September 21, 2012
Dear Folks interested in South Court Inn,
Fall is in the air! For a week now our mornings and evenings are cooler, while the middle of the day is warm and mild. Beautiful weather, if you ask me, the best!
The South Court is just about ready to offer a nightly wine hour from 5 to 6pm. We are just now waiting to get Viognier delivered from Gadino Cellars in little Washington, across the ridge from us and Route 9 red wine from Loudoun County Vineyards from northern Virginia our old home. Christopher, oldest son worked at that winery in summers past. Wine hour at the Inn will offer crackers, local cheese and grapes along the wine.
As of last week Friday construction of our first floor powder room is finished and is wonderful. A great improvement in our lives. Guests will benefit as well.
My last bit of news to discuss concerns our new packages offered on the website. We left a relax and unwind package in place for all those seeking romance, including roses, chocolate covered strawberries, a bottle of Virginia wine and a massage in your room. The new packages are our hiking and picnic packages that offer packed backpacks for each of those activities and Luray cavern tickets. Additionally I could not stay away from offering a German package with one German breakfast and one special German Coffee and Cake time with Black Forest Torte.
Poor Mikey has not been able to get back to building his Mustang II again. He is getting closer though, by creating order in the carriage house. More needs to be done in that regard. Right now he is flying back from Buenos Aires after a few weeks of not getting called.
Come and see us, see all the new things for yourself.
Fondly, Adelheid
