So I got my feet wet, as they say. We had our first weekend with guests and it was great. I was very nervous about doing it all right, not forgetting anything and paying just the right attention to our guests. In the end we could sense and hear their appreciation which makes it all worth it!
In the midst of all that we had to say good bye to our oldest son Christopher as he moved to start his career in Atlanta, GA. Wow!
Mike is installing a cool water saving rain shower head in the cottage today, just in time for our two wedding couples who booked it in the coming days. Mike and I spent quite some time weeding the herb garden. And last but not least I am very excited that my custom ordered magnetic chalk board arrived. I want to set it on the porch to greet our guests by first name! It looks so good and I got my "Chalkink" pens all ready!
Once again I developed much respect for the weekend ahead since we have guests with three very different allergies. That was unexpected! Aber, nichts für ungut.. the menu is set and all will be under control or so it seems right now.
