What our guests say

"I cannot recommend this place enough! Lovely hosts, coffee on trays served early. Glass of wine & snacks on arrival. Beautiful seating inside and outside to relax. Books, chess table....I could go on. If you are in Luray (without children), stay here. It is within walking distance to town and a moderate drive to the entrance to Skyline drive/Shenandoah park. The remodeled bathroom even had a heated floor...who does that except owners that continue to try to elevate your experience."

What our guests say

"We spent a wonderful 3 days at South Court Inn for our wedding anniversary. Our hosts, Shannon and Joe, could not have been more welcoming. Their attention to detail, recommendations for dining and activities, were spot on. They have a true gift for hosting. We knew we in for a good stay when we were also greeted by two other couples who are regulars, on their nth return stays. A glass of wine and snacks were waiting for us on our arrival. Morning coffee and tea room service, outstanding breakfasts that carried us through the day, and afternoon snacks are all a part of the hospitality they provide. The common areas are warm and inviting, the rooms comfortable, with spacious grounds for gathering or relaxing. The downtown area is within walking distance, with several restaurants and shops. The Inn is a 10 minute drive to the entrance to Shenandoah National Park. We were definitely spoiled! Can’t wait to return!"

What our guests say

"A truly outstanding experience at South Court Inn in Luray at the peak of fall! Shannon and Joe were perfect hosts, providing a welcome atmosphere and comfortable accommodation! Their home is beautiful and we could tell that they pay attention to the details to make everything inviting. And the breakfasts were so delicious and well-planned! Shannon and Joe are the best! We will return!"

What our guests say

"We stayed at South Court Inn many years ago and knew it was in a charming town near where we wanted to hike (Shenandoah Valley). The entire house was clean and welcoming as were the new owners. Breakfast was enormous and delicious; different every morning. The house sits back from the street creating a buffer, although the town is pretty quiet. We will be back to enjoy visiting Shannon and Joe and staying in their lovely historic home."
