Foster Harris House

A wonderful very small venue in “Little” Washington, VA that offers a food lover’s experience of local foods for a fraction of the price of the famous place up the street.

Moonshadows Restaurant

Moonshadows is owned and operated my Chef John Moss and his wife Maureen. It is a newcomer in Luray and caters to those interested in Chef inspired fine dining but at a reasonable price! It is very close to the South Court Inn and we enjoy the food there very much!

Mok-N-She's

Named after the owners Mokie and Sheila, Mok-N-She’s was created in an old diner that’s been renovated and converted to modern use. The food is hearty with a Cajun flare and Mokie being a music man has live entertainment on Wednesdays.

Rancho Viejo Mexican Grill and Cantina

The go to place in Luray for Mexican food is very popular with the locals. The menu is large and varied with a huge variety of tasty dishes. They have a good selection of Mexican beers and the Margaritas (if you like that sort of thing!) are very nice and won’t break the bank.

The Speakeasy

A more casual alternative for food, drink and fun is the Speakeasy Pub located downstairs at the Mimslyn, an eight-minute walk from the South Court Inn.  Although it’s pub, the menu is more sophisticated yet the atmosphere is genuinely casual.  Live entertainment is offered, check the schedule for times and dates.

The Valley Cork

The newest addition to the Luray family of businesses, The Valley Cork is a great place to just relax a bit. They provide a wide selection of wines specializing on many local wineries and small eats to complement the wine. They are also a lovely venue for private events. So order a glass of your new favorite wine, some munchies and unwind in a friendly relaxed atmosphere. A very fun alternative in “downtown.”

Great Sandwiches

Triple Crown BBQ

A Luray favorite, Triple Crown has arguably some of the best BBQ in the area! It’s a roadside stand that is open seasonally and located near the Luray Zoo on Route 211 west of town. Foe BBQ, highly recommended.
